At the end of November, The Definition of Insanity was screened at the BigScreen Film Festival 2007 in Kunming, China.

The Definition of Insanity had a successful run at the Stadtkino Basel and is now moving to the Kultkino Atelier, the biggest art-house theater in Basel, for Sunday Matinee shows. The Atelier is located at the Theaterplatz. Upcoming screenings: Sunday, November 5th, 12.45 pm.; Sunday, November 12th, 12:45 pm.

The Definition of Insanity will screen in the competition of the Warsaw Jewish Film Festival in Poland. Other pictures in the 12-film-competition include Steven Spielberg's Munich, Spike Lee's Inside Man and Curtis Hanson's In Her Shoes.

Lightyear Entertainment acquired the rights for a nationwide Video-on-demand (VOD) release of The Definition of Insanity. The film has been picked up by TVN and InDemand, which together reach most cable outlets in the U.S. InDemand works with Time Warner, Comcast, and Cox. TVN includes Adelphia, Bresnan, Buckeye, Blue Ridge, Cablevision, Charter, Comcast, Cox, Insight, Mediacom. Definition will be available from September 15th for 90 days. The Definition of Insanity will have a limited theatrical release in Basel, Switzerland, in October. The Stadtkino Basel will present the film as their "Selection Le Bon Film". The Stadtkino is an art-house and repetory theater located at the Theaterplatz Basel. The screening times are: Thu, Oct. 19, 9pm; Fri, Oct. 20, 5.30pm; Sat, Oct. 21, 3.15pm; Mon, Oct. 23, 6.30pm; Wed, Oct. 25, 6.30pm.

On September 9th, The Definition of Insanity will be shown at the Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs, CA, as part of the on-going film series organized by the Desert Film Society.

The Definition of Insanity will be broadcast on several Serbian networks: TV Novi Sad (Vojvodina), TV Metropolis (Belgrade), TV 5 (Nis), TV Vujic (Valjevo) and TV Santos (Zrenjanin).

The Definition of Insanity will be featured at Chuck Rose's popular Filmmakers Symposium on November 21st and 22nd in New Jersey. The screenings and classes take place at the Loews Theatres Mountainside, Mountainside, NJ, and the Loews Theatres Monmouth Mall, Eatontown, NJ.

The Definition of Insanity wins both the Jury Prize and the Audience Award at the Virginia Film Festival, in a competition among "the best undistributed films of the year", all of them top award winners at other festivals. The members of the jury were Ira Deutchman (Emerging Pictures), Jon Douglas (Regal Entertainment Group), Eric D'Arbeloff (Roadside Attractions), and Paula Silver (film marketing consultant).
